On January 19, 2020 Erika’s girls’ weekend in best life shirts ended (see Erika’s Story); but that was the start of something that no one involved could have imagined would come to fruition less than two months later.

Shari Gottlieb is a graphic designer who works with humanKIND. Formerly a local mom, Shari’s graphic design vision was spot on for the team shirt. Erika was excited to have these two local moms working collaboratively on this endeavor.
It was February 18, 2020 while Erika was sitting in a hospital room at the Mayo Clinic, while her husband, Jeff, recovered from his final cancer surgery, that the design was created over multiple emails. The “LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE” shirt was born. Shari also developed the yEAH logo for the back of the shirts after seeing Erika’s initials, EAH, and realizing that it could form the positive word “yEAH!” These shirts were so well received that Erika turned it into a fundraiser.
While Erika was promoting the fundraiser, a third local mom, Shauna Smith, contacted her with ideas to market this on a larger scale. Erika was blown away with yet another local mom wanting to help her and the possibilities presented. Shauna, a business development and brand strategist, was an amazing addition to the team. Her ideas and plans are bountiful.
This combined work effort became known as TEAM BEST LIFE. This mom trio is the heart of design, production, and marketing for yEAHbestlife. Their determination and selfless hard work to make yEAHbestlife successful shows the spirit of human kind.
